Our commitments in response of the climate emergency

Around the world, the acceleration of primary forests’ destruction is causing irreparable damage to the future of our planet, intensifying the climate crisis and the resulting inequalities. With this in mind, Treecolor Alliance encourages social reforestation and strengthens community resilience. Our approach combines environmental protection and economic growth, guaranteeing a sustainable future for underprivileged populations.

Since its creation in 2021, the charity has focused its efforts in strategic ecoregions, promoting ecological restoration, biodiversity preservation and sustainable socio-economic development.

A collaborative and respectful approach

The methodology adopted is based on a collaborative approach that respects local knowledge and customs.

By combining this knowledge with advanced technical expertise, Treecolor Alliance restores degraded ecosystems, reintroduces endemic species and creates ecological corridors to encourage the sustainable return of biodiversity. Each project is designed to have a significant environmental and social impact.

Our Concrete Impact

Preserving Biodiversity and Forests

Treecolor Alliance projects contribute to the regeneration of fragile ecosystems by planting thousands of endemic trees that are useful for wildlife and communities. In all, more than 9,000 diverse trees have already been planted in Panama and Burkina Faso.

Food Security and Empowerment

We place the creation of sustainable jobs at the heart of our reforestation and conservation projects. Our teams of volunteers, technicians and coordinators are made up of dozens of local people who are accompanied, trained and are responsible for managing the nurseries and monitoring the plantations. In the medium term, the integration of agroforestry supports local food security while offering interesting economic opportunities.

Fighting Climate Change

Our actions aim to restore ecosystems that are essential for carbon capture and climate regulation. In addition to reforesting hectares, the association is setting up solar irrigation systems and agroforestry techniques to increase resilience in the face of prolonged periods of drought and boost local food security, while protecting natural resources.
